FAIRFIELD — Photography enthusiasts will have an opportunity to learn more about this craft at a special event hosted by the Fairfield Museum and History Center.

The museum will host a roundtable discussion and reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10th. The event will discuss the business and creative aspects of photography, and visitors are invited to bring photographs from their own portfolio for review by the panel.

The event is being held in conjunction with the 2026 IMAGES juried exhibition, which recognizes the work of professional, serious amateur, and student photographers from the region. This year’s theme is “Fairfield’s Community: Past & Present” in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The roundtable panel will include Lorynwe Atoui, a featured photographer at this year’s IMAGES exhibition; Elizabeth Avedon, curator and photo consultant; photographer Bruce Dunbar; and Brad Smith, vice president for photography at WWE.
