WESTPORT — The No. 2 Staples High field hockey team cruised to a 7-3 win over No. 7 New Canaan in the FCIAC tournament quarterfinals Friday afternoon.

Tyla Ozgen led the way with a standout four-goal performance. 

Storey Ahl, Eve Dolan and Caroline Roschen also had goals. Sofia Fidalgo racked up a trio of assists.

The Wreckers will take on No. 3 Ridgefield in the semis, at neutral site Brien McMahon, at 7 p.m. Monday.
