WESTPORT — A 21-year-old man is accused of assaulting a co-worker as he drove them home from their job in Westport.
Joshua Desmoulin, of Bridgeport, was charged Oct. 29 with third-degree assault and first-degree threatening.
Police received a complaint Oct. 29 from a man who reported that he and a co-worker — identified as Joshua Desmoulin — began arguing after work here as he was driving them back to Milford.
During the argument, according to the report, Desmoulin allegedly grabbed his co-worker “by the hair and neck while driving, causing him to swerve and almost collide with other vehicles.”
Desmoulin also allegedly threatened to shoot the co-worker, police said.
Desmoulin, after being contacted by police, turned himself in at Police Department headquarters, where he was formally charged.
He was released after posting $2,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 15 at state Superior Court in Stamford.
