Toni Michelle Cribari, 80, of Westport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024.

Born on Sept. 30, 1944, in Hartford to Ruth and Jack Lassow, Toni grew up in Hartford and graduated from Weaver High School.

Toni lived a full and vibrant life, working in many roles throughout her career, from waitress to pharmaceutical technician at Norwalk Hospital and as an EMT in Westport. 

But perhaps her most cherished role was that of a nanny, caring for and nurturing countless children whom she loved as if they were her own.

Toni was a woman of deep love for her friends and family. She had a great passion for music, and she often fondly recalled watching the Beatles for the first time, instantly falling in love with Paul. Known for her independent spirit, her sense of humor, and her beauty both inside and out, Toni was a truly remarkable soul whose light will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Toni is survived by her devoted husband, Ed; her son, Justin, and his wife, Morgan, and her beloved granddaughter, Ophelia. She was predeceased by her father, Jack; her mother, Ruth; her sister, Denise, and her daughters, Chitra and Tara.
