Jean Hunt Tucker, 100, died on August 5, in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

Mrs. Tucker was born in Westport, the daughter of Leon and Etta Hunt. Mrs. Tucker received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University and spent WWII in the Engineering Department of Chance Vought Aircraft in Stratford, Connecticut. 

Mrs. Tucker entered the field of education during the post-war years and taught mathematics in Massachusetts, New York, Indiana and Pennsylvania, and in England as an exchange teacher. 

Upon her retirement from Conestoga High School in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Tucker spent many years teaching in Honduras. Mrs. Tucker was an avid model railroader and amateur genealogist. She was a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants and the DAR. 

She is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Beverly. Survivors include her son Mark, of Pinellas Park, Florida; daughter, Wendy, of St. Petersburg, Florida; daughter, Dency, of Los Angeles, California, as well as two granddaughters, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
