It is with deep love and sadness that we announce Carole Williams, age 86, of Westport, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 5th, 2026. Carole was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother (oma), loving sister, dear aunt and loyal friend. She leaves behind a legacy rooted in kindness.

She devoted many years to her role as a customer service manager at Pepperidge Farm, where she was known for her dedication and care. Even after retiring, her strong work ethic and love of staying active led her to continue contributing to her community. She worked with the Town of Westport, including the Fire Department and the Building Department. Her career reflected her natural gift for connecting with others and her sincere desire to help those around her.

Outside of her professional life, she embraced the world with enthusiasm and joy. An avid traveler, she found happiness in exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. She also had a passion for tennis, enjoying both the sport and friendships it brought into her life.  Shopping was another favorite pastime, one she approached with style and delight.

Above all she treasured time spent with her family and friends, who will carry her spirit forward in their hearts. She will always be remembered.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Thibodeau, grandson Michael Thibodeau, sister Phyllis Denke, brother Samuel (Sandy) Anastasia Jr. She is also predeceased by her father Samuel John Sr. and mother Jennie Fiorillo Anastasia.

A Requiem Mass will be held at Assumption Church on Friday April 10 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes or the American Cancer Society.
