Following is the obituary for ELVIRA N. HALE, submitted for the family by the Harding Funeral Home.

. . .

Elvira Noder Hale left us peacefully on Aug. 17, surrounded by family in her Westport home (the house her parents built).

Born May 14, 1926, Ellie lived to celebrate her 95th birthday with her family. She was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Elvira leaves behind her daughter Paula and husband Dennis; son Mark; son Thomas and wife Camilla; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Anthony, Isabella, Katarina and Maximilian; sister Patricia, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Sept, 2, at 11 a.m. meeting directly at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave. Interment will be private. The Harding Funeral Home in Westport is assisting the family with the arrangements.
