WESTPORT — Redistricting. An impending budget pressured by higher salaries and inflation. A new Long Lots Elementary School. The state’s “Right to Read” mandate.

The Board of Education invites the public to have a “conversation” Wednesday on “any” topic related to Westport’s public school district, according to the board’s announcement.

The session will take place at noon Wednesday, Nov. 20, in the Westport Library, 20 Jesup Road.

School board members will be in attendance to listen and react to comments from the public. The gathering will be moderated by Velma Heller, a former Representative Town Meeting moderator.
