WESTPORT — A special and comical presentation in the spirit of the holiday is available for a repeat viewing with the “Oh Brother Not Another Holiday Special.”

Miggs and Trace Burroughs, the Westport brothers behind the Westport-based “Oh Brother, Not Another Podcast,” which is presented in conjunction with The Westport Library and the Quick Center for the Arts, created the program.

“Based on our podcast Bill Harmer (library director) asked if we would do a variety show,” said Trace, who attributed the general concepts to his brother, Miggs, but said they both took part in fleshing out the details.

“We pre-taped segments or brought guests to the library and projected them on the big screen there,” he said, calling the show “an entertaining departure in this crazy stressful world we live in.”

Trace used his background skills in animation and voiceover work to augment the program, ably assisted by his artist brother, who for many years hosted a cable talk show.

“The other elements and guests on the show are all geared toward having fun,” Trace said, “and creating good feelings with much of the content being Westport-centric.”
