WESTPORT — After a COVID-related absence, the annual Halloween parade marched down Main Street Thursday afternoon.

Rain put the event off for a day, but colorful costumes, candy and lots of happy faces were all on hand for an early taste of the most delicious holiday.

As in years past, the parade weaved its way over to Town Hall, where visitors were met outside with some staff people — including First Selectman Jim Marpe — handing out goodies.
