WESTPORT — Voting got underway without a hitch Tuesday morning, with the five locations covering the town’s nine districts opening for business at 6 a.m.
“We’re set up and how ever many people come, come,” said Vera Shanov, veteran moderator for District 9.
She said that while the number are not expected to be as high as last year’s presidential election, “There are some local elections that may have people coming out, so that’ll be good.”
