FAIRFIELD–The SHU Community Theatre will screen the Hollywood classic “High Noon” tomorrow. The screening will be hosted by Westport Journal’s Susan Granger.

Starring Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly, “High Noon” is the 1952 western about a town marshal with an important choice.

Cooper won his second Oscar for his portrayal of Marshal Will Kane.

Susan’s guest will be Maria Janis Cooper, the daughter of Gary Cooper, and the author of Gary Cooper Off Camera: A Daughter Remembers.

Ms. Cooper Janis will be selling autographed copies of her book; purchasers will be able to take a selfie holding the Oscar statuette that Gary Cooper won for “High Noon.”

The event takes place at 3:00 p.m on Sunday, June 8, at the SHU Community Theatre, 1420 Post Road, Fairfield. Advance tickets are available here.
