WESTPORT — A concert by Blue Coupe, featuring three musicians with a fabled rock pedigree, will be performed March 10 at the Westport Library.

The concert, set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 10, will raise funding for the 2023 VersoFest, which is planned March 30 through April 2, also at the library, 20 Jesup Road.

Tickets to the Blue Coupe concert cost $50, and can be reserved online by clicking here.

Blue Coupe is a trio formed by Alice Cooper group bassist Dennis Dunaway and Blue Oyster Cult founders Joe and Albert Bouchard.

Sisters Tish and Snooky Bellomo of Manic Panic will join Blue Coupe for the March 10 show. Disc jockey B The T Sr. starts the night spinning music that influenced bands such as Alice Cooper and Blue Öyster Cult.

Blue Coupe’s concerts are “a mix of the best-known songs from their respective groups, as well as new music from their studio albums,” according to a publicity release from the library.

The group has released three albums since its inception, with the most recent, “Eleven Even,” in 2019. It was recorded to mimic a live show. “The stage is our second home,” Dunaway said in the publicity release, “so we all write songs with an arena feel.”
