WESTPORT — Jazz saxophonist Eddie Barbash performed   before a packed gallery Friday night at MoCA Westport, part of the museum’s “Music at MoCA” series.

Barbash, a founding member of the house band for the “Late Show With Stephen Colbert” television program, currently tours the with Cory Wong and the Wongnotes.

The next performance in the series will showcase Cuatro Puntos Ensemble — pianist Irena Portenko, violinist Kristen Young and musicians from the Norwalk Youth Symphony.

The concert will take place at 7 p.m. April 28, and will feature chamber music for strings by contemporary Ukrainian composers, including newly commissioned pieces from Odessa and Kyiv.
