GREENWICH — An upcoming exhibition at the Greenwich Historical Society will look at how American fashion has changed over the years and how style choices have helped shape the cultural identity of the United States.
Fashioning America: 250 Years of Greenwich Style will be on view starting on Wednesday, April 22nd. The exhibition will continue through Jan. 10th, 2027.
The clothing in the exhibition largely comes from the Greenwich Historical Society’s own collection, although several pieces are on loan from other local museums and donors. A full slate of programming will complement the exhibition, including lectures, hands-on activities, a costumed storytime, and family events.
Fashioning America is the last in a series of three Greenwich Historical Society exhibitions designed to recognize the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. For more information, click here.
Expanded coverage of Fairfield County cultural events is made possible with support from the Fairfield University Quick Center for the Arts.
