WESTPORT–The Building Department issued a residential demolition permit for the property at 19 Old Orchard Road on Friday.

Built in 1947, the 1¾-story cape has 1,550-square-feet of living space, three bedrooms, one and half baths, a basement, a crawl space, a garage, a wood deck and a finished attic.

The property traded hands in March for $876,000. It had previously traded in 1987 for $334,000.

The property’s assessment currently stands at $451,600.

Old Orchard Road is off Maple Avenue North.
