WESTPORT — The looming snowstorm, with accumulations forecast from 5 to 7 inches, has prompted cancellation of classes Tuesday in Westport’s public schools.

In addition to schools’ closure for students and staff, all school offices are closed and other events Tuesday are being postponed, according to the Monday evening announcement by Supt. of Schools Thomas Scarice.

The Board of Education meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Staples High School, now will take place via Zoom only.
