WESTPORT — Classical compositions, performed by the Danish String Quartet, made for a midsummer’s night of music Friday at MoCA Westport.

The performance by the Grammy-nominated quartet included music by Purcell, Schumann and Schubert.

The marquee of coming musical attractions at MoCA includes:

Aug. 11-13: Heida Hermanns International Piano Competition.

Aug. 20: Trombonist Mariel Bildsten.
