WESTPORT — Saugatuck Congregational Church is hosting a lecture series, in-person and online, exploring the connection between personal faith and the role of those values in the community.
The “Faith in Action” lectures, according to the church, call on “community leaders to reflect on the connections among their faith, core values and work.”
The first of the three programs, featuring Westport Supt. of Schools Thomas Scarice, took place earlier this month but can be viewed on the church’s YouTube channel.
Two more programs are planned:
March 6: Ramin Ganeshram, executive director of the Westport Museum for History and Culture.
April 3: Peter Boyd, chairman of Sustainable Westport.
Each of the programs, presented interview style, can be attended during 10 a.m. Sunday worship services at the church and livestreamed on its YouTube channel and Facebook page.
