WESTPORT — A stretch of Roseville Road, which was closed to traffic early Monday after a motor vehicle crashed into a utility pole, has reopened.

The stretch of Roseville, between Whitney Street and Salem Road, was off limits to traffic as emergency crews were dispatched to the scene just before 6 a.m. Monday.

No serious injuries were reported, and there was no arrest, according to Lieut. Eric Woods, police spokesman.

The crash apparently damaged a utility pole, and brought down power lines in the vicinity. Eversource at that time reported several power outages — “fewer than four” — in Westport, although it was not clear if the outages were related to the Roseville accident.
